A Different New Year New You 30 Day Challenge | Keep Moving Forward in Life

Remember how I said that this year I am not making any resolution of new-year- new- me? Yes, I stand by my words. I am not aiming for any big and drastic or dramatic changes. But, I am determined to train my mind to learn to sail through crisis. Now, I might come up as an ecstatic human for saying that but 2020 has really taught us that – train yourself to face a crisis. And that is exactly what I mean when I say keep moving forward in life.

I am not the perfect example of people who keep moving forward in life, no matter how much I advocate it. There are days in my life when I fall back – start living in the past that has nothing to do with my life right now! And I am trying really hard to get over it. One of my attempts is the New Year New You 30 Day Challenge by Dancing and Life.

My Experience | First 10 days

This challenge gives really small actions to do every day. When I say small, they are more of a mental exercise. And that’s very motivating. For example, this is the day 1 task.

Share your experience in spinning the gratitude wheel. Draw a big circle on a piece of paper; divide it into 4 sections; in each section write what brings you joy; spin a pen and share your experience with whatever joy it lands on.

It makes you feel happy and grateful for things you have and that is very wholesome!

After 10 days, I definitely feel empowered and happy about my life. I am more appreciative of the things I have. I will be updating my thoughts through the journey here. Watch out for this space!

Update on Day 15!

I feel a lot more creative! I feel that even though I have made peace with the creative block, I do not feel it hampering my work. And that is one positive thing! Isn’t it? Have you signed up with Dancing and Life yet?
