I think 12 days of Christmas Cocktails is the series to which I have committed so honestly and truthfully! I love how I spent my weekends in mixing and perfecting these drinks! I hope you enjoyed the previous drink.
This one is definitely inspired by the chai lovers in my life! I love black tea. And I love to experiment with it. And of course, I love hot toddy! So, here is a very holiday-ish twist to the two classic.
12 Days of Christmas Cocktails | Day 3
On the third day of Christmas
my true love sent to me:
3 French Hens
2 Turtle Doves
and a Partridge in a Pear Tree
Okay, I couldn’t get French but I am definitely getting as English as I can with this cocktail.
Here are a few things to keep in mind:
- You can use sweetened apple juice for this cocktail if you don’t enjoy apple cider as much
- Using ginger powder is optional
- You can use the classic masala chai tea bags, to give that extra flavour
I love sweet black tea a lot! Apple cider tea is something I tried and I loved it! I hope this super simple recipe wins your heart too!
Hot Apple Cider Chai

1. You can use sweetened apple juice
