Alright, I might be overdoing cherries. But I love cherries and when I make edible drinks, cherries are always my first choice!
As the name suggests, drunken cherries are cherries, oozing with your favourite alcohol (mostly rum or vodka), covered in your favourite sweet condiments!
12 Days of Christmas Cocktails | Day 11
On the eleventh day of Christmas
my true love sent to me:
11 Pipers Piping
10 Lords a Leaping
9 Ladies Dancing
8 Maids a Milking
7 Swans a Swimming
6 Geese a Laying
5 Golden Rings
4 Calling Birds
3 French Hens
2 Turtle Doves
and a Partridge in a Pear Tree
When it comes to soaking fruits in some liquor, I always prefer a fruity one. If you are soaking strawberries for some cocktail, a berry flavored vodka is a nice choice. For Maraschino cherries, I am using Passionfruit flavored Rum (Malibu).
