- There are more than 3.9 million people in the US who are either born in India or whose ancestry can be traced back to India
- The first wave of Indian immigration to the US happened in the 19th century (circa 1820)
- Between the last two censuses (2000 and 2010), the Indian population increased by 50 per cent
Hello! It is that time of the year again when I try to be consistent on my blog and have failed since the last 2 years, shamelessly. And no, I am not going to talk about random facts this April.
This year my theme for this challenge is different. I thought of writing about the 26 things about my bae, who will celebrate his 30th birthday on 30th April. That is too personal and yes, cheesy too. Then I thought of writing about 26 different places – but that will dilute the full travelogues that I write.
So, after taking a lot of suggestions from my readers and audience on Instagram, here I am with this year’s theme.
A to Z of the Life of an Indian Immigrant in the US
This is apt. I can be funny – talk about real struggles and tell some interesting anecdote and facts!
I really hope you enjoy reading this!
See on 1st April 2020!
I am participating in the ##BlogchatterA2Z Challenge this year!
I wrote about my life in the US where I spent 14 years and the return back to India as an ebook too! Will wait to read your posts! 🙂
As somebody who has never left India till date, I’d love to read your posts. All the best! 🙂
I have so much family in the US and it always amuses me seeing their reactions to “Indian” things. What a great topic, especially when you add humour to it. All the best for April.
Wow. Can’t wait for your posts. All the best!
Good luck. Will come back for your anecdotes.
Certainly! Happy blogging 🙂
Looking forward to reading your anecdotes!
I jumped in too!
