The other side of the 20s is so much about chilling at home rather than going out every night! And that is the only reason that prompted me to start this series. Mixing drinks has always been my forte and I am guilty of it AF. But I have always cocktails – legit mixing of drinks!
This month’s liqueur is Vodka. I have talked about some pretty interesting facts about it and you can read them all here.
The first cocktail to make at home is pretty simple. I do it all the time whenever my ice-cream becomes soft. This is a wholesome dessert! Of course, this is not meant for regular consumption – it’s not healthy! Too much sugar with a lot of alcohol, the kind of thing I need when I am PMS-ing!
Whenever I am drinking, I make sure that I end my spree with something sweet. Drinking a sweeter cocktail, for me, regulates the intake the alcohol. I tend to drink less.
For this particular cocktail, you will need a blender. But if this is one of your lazy days, you can just soak your frozen ice-cream with your vodka and you are good to go!
Drink responsibly. Don’t drink and drive.
This one ingredient cocktail is best for the days when you are extremely low or just want to have some nice dessert! Please be mindful not to spike your ice cream too much. Also, don't mix drinking with driving.
- 2 scoops Ice-cream
- 75ml Vodka
- Chocolate shaving/chips for garnishing
- Add the ice cream and the vodka in a blender.
- Blend. Blend. Blend.
- Put the vodka shake in a freezer-safe container and freeze for an hour.
You can drink the shake as well! It's all about enjoying the drink.
Try with some other ice-cream flavour. I love vanilla. I have tried with chocolate and did NOT like it.
