And another year gone!
I started off this year with a great amount of zeal. I am glad I did. I did a lot of things that I never imagined I would – got rid of people who once meant the world to me, went under the knife and needle, shifted my job yet again – for the 4th time in my entire career of 18 months – these are to name a few. A great deal of instability in almost every aspect of life is what I have witnessed.
I could not complete many things in my goal sheet of the year but there were many things which I did achieve and I am glad for them.
It was a great year. I received the greatest gift in form of my super naughty nephew.
I met amazingly good people who made my life a li’l bit simpler.
I might not have written a lot of blogposts and I am still eyeing an Alexa rank of 10,000. But nevertheless, I read some really good books this year – after a long time.
2016 was an year of new and old cities – a lot of travel, back shots and not-so-back-shots!
My vision board for this year said to get fitter and to learn a new dance form. I certainly lost weight, became fitter, ran a li’l more than I could and performed my first ever stage performance.
I had the most kick-ass and memorable birthday celebration this year. I never felt this special 🙂
A lot of self pampering happened, yes, it did!
I celebrated the big and small occasions and festivals with my friends and family.
I don’t know if I should be sad about the things that I couldn’t do but I am definitely thankful and happy for the small but happy moments that happened to me this year.
And finally, somewhere I wanted to believe in love again. That might not have happened completely but I certainly realized the importance and magic of selfless companionship.
Bye 2016! Thank you for being nice and kind.
@Kokila
This is such a wonderful way to start my year with! Thank you so much 🙂
Not really enviable, but yes, I really dob't want to lament over the things which were bad!
Happy new year to you too! 🙂
Hi, Sushmita! it was a wonderful collage of such beautiful moments! Despite not knowing you, I liked each one of them! Specially, the selfless companionship!
Yeah girl, I also liked the family moments, the self-pampering, the travel tales and the books! Whew..! You seem to have an ENVIABLEe year, dear!
Wishing you such more moments in 2017! 🙂
